Here are some tips for making chainmaille/chainmail… • I prefer using sterling silver…if I’m putting in all that work to make & weave the jump rings, I’m opting for high quality metal. • Learn how to coil & cut your own rings, it’ll save you a lot of money on supplies. I’ve got a couple of tutorials/demos about how I cut jump rings. • Chainmail does not need to be soldered. If you get good closure on each ring, then tumble it after…it should NOT snag or break.
